First Stop - Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands BWI

Here we are leaving the boat ... we had to ferry back and forth due to the shallow water close to the island. All the boats were anchored as you can see in this picture I took from our balcony .... it was so pretty to see.

here I am next to "the sign" ... LOL.. we were dressed (terribly) for our "excursion" ... we were supposed to snorkle with the stingrays at stingray island and that got canceled because of wind. So we just shopped ... oh bummer!

"What's the hole in the floor?" .... this was in a store ... it is a well. They uncovered it when they were excavating the site for the shopping area. It says that the early settlers used it as a source for fresh water. There were stairs carved in the coral and everything. I tried to get a picture of the stairs but that's as good as I could get.

This slide ... you are not going to believe it ... was at "Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville!".... The bar was to the left and there was this open area and you could swim and go down the slide and listen to the music and get served too!!! We didn't see it until we were leaving ... the kids would have
had so much fun! The other picture is leaving Grand Cayman port. It basically was all shopping and things like that. They also said there were like 240 banks on the island ... wow! LOL... lots of offshore accounts!
