Faith

Faith... lately that is such a "hidden" feeling or emotion. Sometimes I feel that when I mention God or anything about him or the ways that he works or that I am a Christian, I feel like people want me to hide it or to just not talk about it. That makes me so sad. I feel that Eric and I are good people and we are good Christian people that are just at a loss for a church right now. We were so happy when we were going to our old church, the girls were too. So, we've been in search for one. Long search let me tell you! Still looking as a matter of fact. BUT ... let me tell you how cool it was when we went to River Ranch the three days before school started again ... on Saturday night they had a rodeo .. I've never been to one of those ... but was so excited to finally see one! The girls were so psyched and Eric was too! So we are sitting there and the horses gallop in with cowboys and girls holding flags ... american flag, decorative flags .. it was so cool. So then here come 4 cowboys at a full gallop ... their flags said GOD BLESS THE USA !!!!! Can you believe it? I was shocked. I hate that I was shocked but in the world we are in lately ... you have to watch what you say or believe ... we were so excited to see that !!!! So then when we thought we had seen it all ... the guy tells everyone to be quiet ... and he procedes to say a PRAYER!!!!! Thanking God for everything and asking for the safety for our troops and the cowboys ... etc...... AGAIN we were so happy ... I was in tears .. it was AWESOME....

so the whole reason I am writing about this is because an awesome friend Darcy ... she used to be on my DT ... posted an awesome story on her blog. Check it out here ... she is such an inspiration and she really makes me happy to be a Christian woman. Thank you Darcy ... you and Darrin are so great. She also closed with this awesome quote :
