These owls are residing currently in the front part of our property. They are so cool to watch and listen to. The baby is still calling for it's parents and the parents hoot back! It is so cool. These are Barrel / Hoot owls.
They hoot like this Hoo hoo hoooooo, Hoo hooo hoooooo hooooo oooo ... it sounds like this: “Who cooks for you? Who cooks for you all?”
